One publishing record after another seems to be broken by The Reserve, a recent biography of Prince Harry that is selling very well both abroad and in our country. Remarkably, in just 10 days of release, the book has already sold over 3.2 million copies worldwide and is estimated to be likely to enter the club of the most commercially successful biographies of all time. In Greece, the numbers are also impressive: the first edition of 10,000 copies is almost sold out, and Pedio is preparing a second edition to meet the increased demand.

According to Norman Lebrecht in Why Beethoven (coming out in May on Pegasus), the composer wrote the words “To Teresa” in the score of the piece, referring to the musician Teresa Malfati. After his death, the score fell into the hands of a German music teacher, who invited the researcher Ludwig Knoll to her home to give it to him. He asked her what the name of the play was, and the teacher…read it, thinking of her granddaughter with nostalgia.
