A sum of money of about 1,000 euros is estimated to have been stolen from a burglary committed at night in a pharmacy located on Khalidon Street near the Metropolitan Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The attacker (or the perpetrators) broke the glass door of the pharmacy and took the money from the cash register without stealing the drugs. According to the owner of the pharmacy, there are protective iron rollers in the store, but they were left due to damage to the mechanism.
Police authorities have been informed of the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
