
After the release and success of his film”Fabelmans“, Steven Spielberg is preparing a documentary film about the life of his friend and co-author of many of his film projects, composer John Williams.
Steven Spielberg’s production company Amblin Television will co-produce a feature film about the legendary 91-year-old composer with Imagine Documentaries and Nedland Media, according to Deadline.
Spielberg, 76, commissioned Williams to score 27 of his films, most recently the semi-autobiographical Fabelmans, which received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score.
Over the course of his career, John Williams has been nominated for 52 Oscars and has won five for films: Fiddler on the Roof, Shark Jaws, Star Wars, E.T., and Schindler’s List. He has also received 25 Grammy Awards, six Emmy Awards and numerous other awards.
Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Daryl Frank will produce a film about the composer, who began his career in 1950s television series.
