The murder of a 47-year-old man took place yesterday morning in Kalamata and two people were identified as perpetrators, one of whom was arrested.

In particular, according to ELAS, a 22-year-old citizen and a 38-year-old foreigner were identified as the perpetrators, of which the 22-year-old was arrested, and the 38-year-old is wanted. A criminal case has been opened against them for murder, and the 38-year-old is also accused of violating weapons laws.

In particular, as it became known from the police investigation, yesterday morning in Kalamata, the criminals were waiting for the 47-year-old, after a preliminary consultation between them, where the 38-year-old argued with him and then shot him. After that, they got into the car and fled.

As part of an organized operation carried out by ELAS, a 22-year-old man was found today at noon in Kalamata and arrested. In addition, two more men, aged 40 and 50, were detained, against whom a case was initiated on giving false testimony and aiding a criminal.

Finally, the car used by the perpetrators during the escape was discovered and confiscated. Persons arrested in cases brought against them will be prosecuted, and police investigations and pre-investigation work will be carried out by the Kalamata Security Sub-Directorate.
