He was born in Baia Mare and lived in Bucharest. He worked as an environmental engineer at the National Research Institute of Mechatronics and Measuring Technology.

He was an active member of the Alpin Club Pro-Mont Bucharest, an association that aims to promote mountain sports.

Ana Oros Daraban has been the Roșia Montana Marathon ambassador since January 2014, when she joined the Pachamama Romania team.

On Saturday morning, Ana Oros was attacked by a pack of 7-8 dogs while she was jogging in the Lacul Morii area of ​​Bucharest. She was also attacked there less than a year ago. Last April, she was bitten while jogging near Mill Lake Dam. Then she was saved by two cyclists who were passing through the area at that time. He was hospitalized with multiple head and limb injuries.

On Saturday, according to court sources, a citizen saw the woman being attacked by dogs from afar, but when he arrived, it was already too late. He called 112, but the medical team that arrived at the scene only succeeded in declaring death.
