Mystery surrounds the case of the death of a man who was found hanged on Monday night (16.01) in an apartment in Moschato.
If initially the information was about suicide, now the case is treated as a criminal act, since the woman who was with him last night was detained.
Police sources, speaking to cathimerini.gr, said that the victim was an accountant and allegedly, according to the woman, owed her money. In particular, the detained woman told the police who arrived at the scene that she went to the man’s house to talk, and they had a fight. Then, according to him, she took the rope and tried to strangle him.
He reacted and began to threaten to kill himself.
Then, according to the version given by the woman, the victim allegedly took a rope and hung herself on a single beam. “The woman finally admitted that when the man put his head through the rope, she asked him to commit suicide and pushed a chair on him, causing him to receive fatal injuries,” the same sources note.
Considering the above, the leaders of EL.AS. who took on the case are investigating to shed light on the dark side of the story and come to firm conclusions.
