The Premier League gives the richest football clubs

City, owned by a company from Abu Dhabi, received a total income of 731 million euros, followed by “Real” (714 million euros) and “Liverpool” (702 million euros), writes Reuters.

Local rivals Manchester United earned 689 million euros, while Paris Saint-Germain competes in the top 5 with 654 million euros.

The Premier League once again shows its superiority: Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, West Ham United, Leicester City, Leeds United, Everton and Newcastle are among the 20 richest clubs.

On the other hand, Spain’s La Liga does not seem to have recovered from the pandemic. According to the report, Barcelona and Real Madrid are far from their 2018-19 levels, with revenues down by €203m and €43m respectively.
