Illegally owned pistols, cartridges and packs of cigarettes were hidden in the IXE vehicle of two men arrested in Egnatia Odos Kypon – Alexandroupolis.

In particular, on Monday yesterday, police officers of the Alexandroupolis Police Department’s Operational Intervention Group, together with the police of the Alexandroupolis Security Sub-Directorate, during an inspection they carried out in the vehicle in question, found two carefully hidden pistols, 69 rounds of ammunition, 45 packs of contraband cigarettes and four passports of other persons.

The detainees will be taken to the Prosecutor’s Office of the First Instance of Alexandroupolis.
