PNL First Vice-President Raresh Bohdan claims that the rotation will be carried out “according to the formula that was stipulated in the signed protocol, and that there will be no negotiations between PSD and PNL regarding the portfolios. Bohdan also says that “introducing debates 4-5 months before the rotation is senseless and does not contribute to good governance.”

“We signed the protocol, joined the government together. PNL will strictly follow the protocol. The protocol is followed to the last comma. The PNL will cede European funds and justice and will receive the post of Deputy Prime Minister, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance and Secretary General of the Government. We will not discuss even one point. PNL will not even move away from this issue,” said Raresh Bohdan on Realitatea TV.

According to the first vice-president of the PNL, if the PSD wants to keep Sorin Grindeana in transport and Cachiu in the position of finance, then “we believe that the rotation will not happen and Mr. Chuke will remain as prime minister. This is my position, that of Dana Motreanu, Alina Gorjiu, Gheorghe Falki, and Vasile Blaga,” said Raresh Bohdan.

The PNL first vice president’s statement came after PSD leaders publicly said that the government ring road should not “change the players who are performing”. PSD President Marcel Cholaku and PSD General Secretary claim that the change of the prime minister does not require a change of portfolios.
