In an interview with MARCA, Ian Wright spoke about Odergaard’s influence and importance in Arsenal’s game.

“When Arsenal loaned him, I was very surprised. He was too good for Arsenal at the time.

Real Madrid bought him at 15 and although they saw his potential, they didn’t have the necessary patience with him. Arsenal benefited from this.
