
Slovakia has delivered eight Zuzana 2 howitzers ordered by Ukraine last year, the Slovak Defense Ministry said on Monday, dpa reports, Agerpres reports.
“As of today, we have handed over to Ukraine a full battery of high-quality artillery systems produced by our own defense industry,” Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad said, according to the ministry’s website.

“We are convinced that with their help Ukrainian defenders will be able to save as many lives as possible and bring their homeland closer to unconditional victory over the enemy,” he added.
The state production enterprise “Construction-Defense” is already working on a new order for Ukraine, the ministry reported. This will include a further 16 Zuzana 2 howitzers to be jointly paid for by Germany, Denmark and Norway.
