According to the police, in January last year (in particular, 01/21/2022), an unknown attacker who introduced himself on social networks as famous film artistpersuaded his country to provide him with financial assistance to pay his taxes in exchange for the alleged financial benefits from the profits from the production of a film in which he participated.

In this way, he managed to convince her to make bank deposits in various accounts that he indicated to her, withdrawing the total amount 150,000 euros.

As a result of the investigation and preliminary investigation, and after using the data, it was established that from June 2021 to November 2021, the criminals withdrew partial amounts of money from the country, then proceeded to split the amounts into separate smaller ones and retransfer them from the money in the accounts belonging to the above criminals.

A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Heraklion Security Department.
