
A 36-year-old German woman accused of possessing and attempting to export drugs was arrested during a traffic stop at the Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos” by police officers of the Anti-Narcotics Subdivision of the Attica Security Service.
According to ELAS, in the context of targeted checks and after evaluating the information, a certain amount of raw cannabis was found in the foreigner’s possession and he was arrested.
In the luggage of a 36-year-old woman who was about to leave for Cyprus, a carefully hidden and seized raw cannabis with a total weight of 3785 grams was found. At the same time, a mobile phone and a sum of money were confiscated.
The detained woman was taken to the Prosecutor’s Office of Athens.
