According to Kyril Tymoshenko, a representative of the Administration of the President of Ukraine, nine people, including a 15-year-old girl, were killed as a result of a Russian attack on a residential building in Dnipro.

He also noted that 37 people, including six children, have been rescued from the rubble, and 64 injured, including 14 children, have been taken to the hospital.

Search and rescue operations continued Saturday evening, CNN reports.

A preliminary report released by the authorities said at least five people were killed and another 27 injured.

“There are already five dead, 27 people were injured and hospitalized, including six children,” the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region Valentyn Reznizenko said on Telegram, where he posted an image of the building in ruins.

Russia launched a second wave of missiles across Ukraine on Saturday afternoon, sending people into cover as sirens wailed across the country, just hours after early morning airstrikes hit critical infrastructure in Kyiv and the country’s second-largest city, Kharkiv.

According to Ukrainian officials, the Russian attacks targeted Ukrainian energy and strategic infrastructure in Kharkiv (northeast) and Lviv (west) on Saturday.

“There were emergency outages” after two strikes on the infrastructure, said Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleg Synegubov.

In Lviv, the authorities warned of interruptions in water supply and electricity.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also published on Twitter a photo of the consequences of the Russian attack in the Dnipro:
