This was stated by researchers from the Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore at a conference of the American Astronomical Society.

The original discovery of this exoplanet was made by a space telescope. TESS the American Space Agency (NASA) and was followed by its confirmation by new observations from the more powerful Webb telescope.
