The Metropolitan Police reported on Thursday that they detained and brought to the hearing a person who robbed a foreign citizen on December 21, from whom he stole a backpack containing 12,000 dollars and about 50 grams of gold.

As reported by the Metropolitan Police, on Thursday, police officers of the 9th Police Department under the leadership of the Prosecutor’s Office of the 2nd District Court conducted a search in a case in which investigative actions are being conducted for qualified theft. The suspect in the theft was taken for questioning.

The Metropolitan Police reported that on December 21, the 9th Precinct received a report by calling number 112 that a backpack was stolen from a foreign citizen at an address in Sector 2 around 1:00 a.m.
