Thus, citizens who are looking for work and are registered in the DYPA (formerly OAED) Digital Registry have the opportunity to save the new digital card on mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices and use it for easy and immediate access. benefits to which they are entitled.

As stated in the announcement, “The new DYPA digital card marks the end of the printable unemployment card. The map is connected to the DYPA digital registry and is updated daily by it. This ensures clarity as to who is entitled to which benefits, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4921/2022 Return to Work.

In particular, by scanning a DYPA digital card from the Gov.gr wallet, it will be easy to check the type of benefit, allowance, allowance or benefit that the holder will be entitled to.

The DYPA Digital Card is the fourth document included in the Gov.gr wallet. As a reminder, since July 2021, a police ID card and a driver’s license are available, and in November last year, a digital disability card was added.

The addition of the Digital Disability Card was carried out in collaboration with the Ministries of Digital Management and Labor and Social Affairs. The implementation was carried out by the National Technological and Research Infrastructure Network (EDYTE SA-GRNET), a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Management.

Citizens can install the Gov.gr Wallet app through wallet.gov.gr. The app currently stores over 930,000 ID cards, 760,000 driver’s licenses and 5,900 disability cards.

Instructions for issuing a new DYPA digital card

1. Issuing a new DYPA digital card requires the installation of the Gov.gr Wallet application. To install the above application, you connect to the Internet through your mobile device and launch a web browser. Go to the site https://wallet.gov.gr/#download and then to the “Download application” section. Depending on whether your mobile device is running iOS or Android, click the appropriate image and then follow the instructions to install and initialize the app. In addition, you can find and download the Gov.gr Wallet app through the Google Play Store and AppStore (Apple).
2. Once you have installed the app (or if it was already available on your device), you open it with TAXIS codes or biometrics.
3. On the main screen, select “+”.
   
4. At the bottom of the screen, the option to add documents appears, from which you select the DYA digital card. and follow the instructions that will be offered to you.
   
5. You will then be asked to enter your AMKA to verify your insurance identification and verify that your digital unemployment card is active.
6. If the Digital Unemployment Card is active, it will appear on your screen as an additional digital document in the Gov.gr Wallet Digital Depository application.
