Sky News quoted Penguin Random House as saying that the Duke of Sussex’s memoirs “exceeded even our most optimistic expectations”, adding that the only books to sell more on their first day of release were the Harry Potter novels.

Prince Harry’s controversial autobiography, whose Spanish-language edition was mistakenly put on sale ahead of schedule, was officially launched on Tuesday, with many readers lining up to buy a hardcover copy of the Duke of Sussex’s memoir.

The book attracted worldwide attention for its revelations about Prince Harry’s allegations against his father, King Charles III, his stepmother Camilla and his older brother, Prince William. (Source: Agerpres)
