Legendary American actor Sylvester Stallone says his role in the recently released TV series King Tulsa could be his “swan song” in terms of acting, Insider reports.

Now 76, the Manhattan-based actor told IndieWire that he may finally be ready to take it easy on movies and that Tulsa King, the gangster series that premiered in November on Paramount+, could be his last project participates in the production and also acts in it.

Probably less known to the general public, Stallone has been involved in writing his roles since the first film Rockyreleased in 1976, which brought him international fame.

When asked by IndieWire if he’s working on projects he hopes to direct in addition to starring, Stallone said:

“I could, but maybe not the role to play. I doubt the gaming aspect. I think this could be my swan song.”

By the way, about the role in Tulsa Kinghe said that he tried to create it “as close as possible to his personality.”

“The idea is that they (producers) come with an idea, with a concept, but you, if you’re a screenwriter, know how to adapt things to your strengths and avoid your weaknesses,” the Italian-born actor said.

Released November 13 on Paramount+, Tulsa King received generally good reviews from critics and was highly praised by fans, the series’ success came at a difficult time for Balboa personally, as his wife had recently filed for divorce from the actor after 25 years of marriage.
