It may not be one of Netflix’s best-selling new releases.but definitely a spy mini-series titled “Change” it is an asset for the platform.

Written by Oscar nominee Matt Charman, who wrote the historical thriller Bridge of Spies with Tom Hanks, the series creates interesting characters that it then lures into a carefully constructed and complex web of lies.

Charlie Cox, best known for the fantasy series Daredevil, stars in this five-episode drama. Here the English actor plays Adam Lawrence, a young but reliable MI6 agent who is steadily rising through the ranks.

Next to him and, along the way, opposite him is Sir Martin Angelis, who, as always, is superbly played by the Irish actor Ciarán Hinds.

On the Disney+ platform The American sitcom Abbott Elementary, which received the most nominations (5) of any other at this year’s Golden Globes, is now available to watch.

The series follows a group of dedicated teachers who struggle to make ends meet in the Philadelphia public education system.

Combining smart humor and poignant social observations, this contemporary sitcom is certainly living up to its reputation, and a second season is expected soon.

James Marsden

“I’d be lying to you if I said that the way we ended Westworld didn’t disappoint.”, James Marsden recently told Rolling Stone magazine. The American actor, of course, is referring to the unexpected version of the HBO series beloved by millions of viewers last November.

The network decided to cancel Westworld after four seasons, likely due to its exorbitant cost combined with somewhat under-rated ratings.

“I understand that this is an expensive series and these series need to have a correspondingly large audience to justify the cost, but I wanted to believe that some things are more important than financial success,” Marsden also said.
