Eugen Nyagoe, optimistic before the first match on the Olten bench

After the scandalous divorce from the University of Cluj, Eugen Nyagoe has signed a contract with the University of Craiova until the summer of 2024.

The University of Craiova is the team for which Eugen Nyagoe made his debut as a player and with whom he achieved great performances.

“I returned home with great pleasure and enthusiasm. I hope that together we can achieve more than what has been achieved so far.

I want us to have good and very good results together, as Craiova fans always want.

I made my debut as a player at the University of Craiova. I am one of those players who contributed to the successful University event in 1991 and the Cup win in 1993.

I sincerely hope for the same results as the coach.” said the 55-year-old technician.

At the press conference, Yevhen Nyagoe also touched on the issue of transfers and stated that the team would not benefit from many reinforcements.

“Maybe a new player will appear tonight. He is not Romanian, he is a national team player. Maybe he will join the team tomorrow if all goes well.

We will not do many transfers. We are thinking about another one. We did not come to make a revolution, to change half of the team.” Nyagoe concluded.

The University of Craiova is very close to completing the transfer of Alexandru Ishfan from FC Argesh.
