Lucas Perez paid €500,000 to leave La Liga for Spain’s third division

Cádiz president Manuel Vizcaino has set a deadline of December 31 for the transfer, and Deportivo have announced the acquisition of the forward, who has signed a contract until the end of next season, writes Marca.

The business is very lucrative for Cadiz, who would lose Perez out of contract in the summer. The club will receive 1 million euros, of which 493,000 will be paid by the player, the rest by Deportivo.

In addition to this amount, Peres gave up about 900,000 euros, which he was supposed to receive by the summer.

The former Arsenal, West Ham and Rayo Vallecano man has dropped down two divisions to play again for the Galician club, for whom he has done so three times previously.
