Material assistance to some pensioners

Pensioners with an income of less than 3,000 lei will receive assistance in two installments, i.e. in January and October.

They will receive:

  • 1,000 lei if the monthly income is up to 1,500 lei inclusive;
  • 800 lei if the monthly income is from 1,501 lei to 2,000 lei inclusive;
  • 600 lei if the monthly income is from 2,001 lei to 3,000 lei inclusive.

How much money will pensioners receive in January from this assistance

Since there are two payments, the above amounts will be split into two parts. Thus, in January the amounts will be:

  • in the amount of 500 lei, if the level of monthly income is up to 1,500 lei inclusive;
  • in the amount of 400 lei, if the level of monthly income is from 1,501 lei to 2,000 lei inclusive;
  • in the amount of 300 lei, if the monthly income level is from 2,001 lei to 3,000 lei inclusive.

In the case of pensioners who receive a pension in connection with the loss of a breadwinner, financial assistance is assigned to each one separately.

They will receive the second half in October.

It should be noted that the maximum amounts are taken into account after increasing the pension score. If there are people who (theoretically) in 2022, for example, fell under the ceiling of 2,000 lei, they will now exceed it, so they will receive 300 lei in January and 300 lei in October.
