Experts from countries that do not support Russia in any form may be involved in such an investigation, the ministry said.

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported that its air defenses shot down a Ukrainian S-300 missile in the border area of ​​Brest on Thursday. As a result, Belarus summoned the ambassador of Ukraine to Minsk.

“We appealed to Ukraine to conduct a thorough investigation of all the circumstances surrounding the launch of the missile, to bring those responsible to justice and to take comprehensive measures to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents in the future. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that Ukraine is aware of Russia’s attempts to draw Belarus into a war against Ukraine.

“Ukraine does not exclude a deliberate provocation by the terrorist state Russia, which could program the route of its cruise missiles to intercept them in the airspace of Belarus,” the message reads.
