
The procedure for implementing electronic transport (goods radar) is published in the Official Gazette. We also remind you that from January 1, 2023, fines of up to 100,000 lei will be issued for non-compliance with the provisions.
E-transportation will cover goods with high fiscal risk, i.e. vegetables, fruits, edible roots and tubers, other edible plants, alcoholic beverages, mineral products (natural mineral water, sand and gravel), clothing and footwear.
The IT application for the management of transport with high fiscal risk, which is part of the national RO e-transport system, will be available in the Virtual Private Space (SPV) IT system.
The categories of road vehicles subject to monitoring are vehicles with a technically permissible maximum weight of at least 2.5 tons, loaded with high fiscal risk cargo with a total gross weight of more than 500 kg or a total value of more than 10,000 lei, associated with at least one consignment goods that are the object of transportation.
After the transfer of data related to the transportation of goods with a high fiscal risk, the RO electronic transport system automatically assigns a unique identification number (UIT), which is used as a reference in the processes and operations specific to the system.
In the RO electronic transport system, data relating to the consignor, consignee or consignee, name, characteristics, quantity and value of transported goods, places of loading and unloading, details of the means of transport used and the carrier, the declared date for the start of transport, and the generated UIT code.
