Depeche Mode, Deep Purple, Boney M, Eros Ramazzotti and The Hollywood Vampires are among the acts scheduled to perform in Bucharest in 2023. And Lord of The Dance dancers return to the capital with the anniversary show “25 years of standing ovation”, which was originally planned for September 18, 2022.

The extraordinary New Year’s concert “Musical Journey in Venice”, a gala event in its 9th edition, will be held at the Romanian Athenaeum on January 4 from 19:00.

On January 6, from 9:30 p.m., the band Timpuri Noi will give an extraordinary concert at the Hard Rock Cafe. Direction 5 returns to H Brewery on January 10 and performs at Hard Rock Cafe on January 27, where fans can listen to hits such as “A girl like her”, “Dacă ai şti”, “Esti stilul meu”. “, “Thank you”, “I need you”.

The concert “My Waltz” with Tudor Gheorghe accompanied by the Concertino Orchestra from Chisinau under the direction of the conductor and orchestrator Marius Hristescu, scheduled for December 21, 2022 in the Palatului Hall, has been postponed to January 12, 2023 in the same space.

On January 19, Alternosfera returns to Bucharest with a concert at the Hard Rock Cafe, starting at 9:00 p.m.

Lord of the Sound, a contemporary symphony orchestra that has enjoyed tremendous success in Europe, will perform a new program of “The Music of Hans Zimmer” at Palatului Hall on January 25. Among the songs that can be heard are “Dune”, “Spider-Man 2”, “Gravity”, “Mission Impossible”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Madagascar”. In addition to the impressive vocal parts of the soloists and the choir, the symphony orchestra will surprise you with a unique show program, theatrical productions, amazing special effects, unstoppable energy and positivity of the entire team.

Greek artist Konstantinos Koufos returns to Bucharest at Arena Berăriei H on February 10 with the Greek show “Tika Taka”. On February 14, on Valentine’s Day, Palatului Hall will host Bosquito, and on February 24, Cargo will bring a special event to the Palatului Hall stage – “Rock Ballad”. The band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the hit “If the Rain Stopped” and is preparing a playlist dedicated to the band’s ballads.

On February 25, under the auspices of “Disco Icons”, Boney M returns with Liz Mitchell, the most famous voice of the famous music group, at Sala Palatului. At the opening of the concert, a surprise guest will appear on the stage, whom the organizers will announce in the near future.

“Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Somebody to love”, “We Will Rock You”, “Don’t stop me now”, “Another One Bites the dust”, “Under Pressure”, “I Want to break free”, “Radio “Gaga” or “The show must go on” – these are some of the songs that will be played on March 7 at Sala Palatului during the Queen Rock Opera tribute show.

The unmistakable star of fado music, Marisa, comes to Romania on March 8th at Sala Palatului with a show celebrating more than two decades of her recording career.

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) – vocals, Tanya O’Callaghan – bass, John O’Hara (Jethro Tull) – keyboards/hammond, Keitner Z Doka (John Lord, Ian Pace) – guitar, Bernhard Welz (John Lord, Don Airy ) ) – drums with Paul Mann (Deep Purple, John Lord) – conductor, plus a full symphony orchestra, the Bucharest Film Orchestra (with 80 members) can be heard at Sala Palatului on March 15, in the show “Bruce Dickinson – Music of John Lord and Deep Purple”.

On March 28, Tudor Gheorghe presents the show-event “One Who Thinks Alone” – Palatului Hall, 19:00. The artist will be accompanied by the Concertino orchestra from Chisinau under the direction of Marius Hristescu.

On April 9, Briton Mike Rosenberg, known under the pseudonym Passenger, will perform at the capital’s Roman Arenas; the show was originally scheduled for July 1, 2022 at the same venue.

Eros Ramazotti will take the stage at Sala Palatului on April 23 as part of the promotional tour for his upcoming album “Battito Infinito”.

WASP’s 2022 tour has been postponed to 2023, and the band will next visit Rome’s Arenas on May 17. Along with bassist Mike Duda, guitarist Doug Blair and drummer Aquiles Priester, frontman Blackie Lawless will take fans back in time to the band’s beginnings in a unique and extravagant show.

On May 20, the Irish dance group Lord of the Dance returns to the Palace Hall stage with the jubilee show “25 Years of Ovation”. Original scenery, extravagant costumes and new elements of choreography accompanied by the most modern special effects will create a unique atmosphere of the anniversary show. The event is timed to the 25th anniversary of the world tour. The presentation has been postponed from September 18, 2022.

In 2023, Metalhead Meeting celebrates 10 years since its first edition with an event that will take place between May 26 and 28 at Romexpo in the open air. Headlining band Pantera – May 27.

Also, on May 27 at the Roman Arenas, five bands – Alternosfera, Trooper, OCS, ZOB and Stema – will perform at the second Out of Office Fest.

On June 3 and 4, at the Summer in the City festival, which takes place in the capital’s Constitution Square, the headliners are Robbie Williams and Sam Smith. Among others, Editors, LP, Calum Scott or Abby Roberts will take the stage.

The Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup that includes Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry, returns to Bucharest on June 8, 2023 for an outdoor concert at Romexpo. The three founders are joined by Tommy Henriksen, bassist for Alice Cooper. The show was originally scheduled for August 31, 2021.

The third SAGA festival will take place in Bucharest from June 23 to 25 at Romaero.

Italian artist Zuccero is expected on July 6 with a show at Sala Palatului. The event is a carryover from the 2020 event and is part of the “DOC” album promotion tour. After the show in Bucharest, Zucchero performs in Cluj-Napoca on July 8.

The famous British band Deep Purple has planned a concert at Romexpo on July 9.

Depeche Mode returns to the National Arena on July 26. The show is part of the international tour “Memento Mori” and is the 15th album in Depeche Mode’s career. The disc will be released in the spring of 2023.

The Fall in Love Festival is scheduled from September 1 to 3 at Mogoshoaya Palace, a new round of music, dance and nature.

On September 17, the British Louis Tomlinson will perform at the Romanian Arena. The event is part of a world tour to promote the Faith in the Future album.

On November 3, German conductor Friedemann Rihle is expected to give a symphonic rock concert as part of the “Rock the Opera” show in the capital’s Palatului Hall. Fans will have the opportunity to listen to songs that have gone down in history from bands such as Queen, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Deep Purple, U2 or The Scorpions. Special guests will be Giacomo Voli and drummer Franz Zapata.

On November 19, Trooper will celebrate its 28th anniversary with a concert at Sala Palatului. Fans of the band will have the opportunity to watch their team with a 50-piece orchestra.

Horia Brenciu has scheduled a “My Way” concert at Palatului Hall in Bucharest on November 24.

Celine Dion’s concert, rescheduled for June 11 after being originally announced for July 29, 2020 and rescheduled for July 25, 2021, has been canceled due to some health issues with the artist. (Source: Agerpres)
