President Vladimir Putin on Friday told Russian defense industry leaders to increase weapons production capacity to ensure the Russian military quickly receives all the military equipment it needs to fight in Ukraine, Reuters reported.
Putin, who has presented Russia’s war in Ukraine as part of a historic effort to counter what he calls excessive Western influence in world affairs, made the comments during a visit to Tula, a center for arms production.
“The most important key task of our military-industrial complex is to provide our advanced units and forces with everything they need: weapons, ammunition and equipment in the required quantities and of the appropriate quality in the shortest possible time,” Maly said. bit

“It is also important to finalize and significantly improve the technical characteristics of the weapons and equipment of our fighters based on the accumulated combat experience,” Putin also emphasized.
Putin said this week that Russia’s military must learn from and deal with the problems it experienced in Ukraine, promising to give the military everything it needs to continue the war.
