The healthiest and most recommended by doctors are those contained in brine, especially during rich meals, because everything that means marinating in salt means probiotics, explains HotNews.ro nutritionist Ligia Alexandrescu.

“Anything that means pickle means probiotics, means helping the colon and neutralizing acidity,” says Ligia Alexandrescu, a sports nutrition, nutrition education and nutrition communications consultant.

Pickling in brine is “definitely” healthier, emphasizes Ligia Alexandrescu: “Vinegar has no place in our lives. Legs swell, cellulite appears, if we are talking about women, and at the level of the kidneys, it does not help at all.”
