The 38-year-old actress condemned the authorities for hanging Mohsen Sekari, who was executed on charges of “war against God”, according to the laws of Islam, and in social media posts she supported the protest movement against the mandatory wearing of the hijab. and condemned the execution of the protesters.

Faradi, a two-time Oscar winner, also called on authorities to release the actress in a social media statement.

“I worked with Tarane on four films, and now she is in prison, because she rightly stood up for her compatriots and expressed her disagreement with unfair punishments,” the director wrote on his Instagram account.
