Mayor Nikusor Dan invites residents and tourists of Bucharest to the “Christmas Story” fair in the courtyard of the Children’s Comic Opera, where children can enjoy an ice rink, a merry-go-round, a story train and even a merry-go-round.
“I invite Bucharest residents and tourists to the Christmas Story fair in the courtyard of the Children’s Comic Opera (Julesti Building, No. 16). Here, the organizers are waiting for the little ones with an ice rink, a carousel, a story train and even a scarecrow – a unique attraction in Bucharest. There is even Santa Claus, who has his own house in Targu, and the children’s choirs of the National Cantus Mundi program sing daily on the Carolingian Stage. A Christmas Story has no shortage of ideas for gifts, books, toys, treats or souvenirs,” Mayor Nikushor Dan wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.
There are also 32 elf workshops for children, where kids can create various items and decorations: Christmas tree crowns, holiday candles, greeting cards or globes.
Public access to the “Poveste de Crăciun” fair is free, and tickets are required to participate in the events, which can be purchased at the Opere Comice shop, the ticket office, and designated areas at the fair. The price of the ticket is 3 lei.
The fair is open until December 29 from 15:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Friday and from 10:00 to 22:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
On December 24, the schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on December 25 the fair will be closed.
