The Central Commission of Referees has received FIFA validation for 11 referees, 15 assistant referees, 10 VAR referees, 4 futsal referees and 3 beach soccer referees, according to the Romanian Football Federation.

Ovidiu Hatcegan, who has faced medical problems this year and has only been delegated as a referee in the VAR room, will return as the center referee.
