The Council of Trade Union Representatives (CRU) of the UDMR met on Friday in Cluj-Napoca, and President Kelemen Hunor presented a political report, News.ro reports.

Kelemen Hunor later wrote on Facebook that “no one should have any doubts” that Hungarians in Romania deserve to have UDMR in government.

“If we were not there, the problems of our community would not be important to others, and many regions of Transylvania would remain undeveloped,” Kelemen Hunor wrote on Facebook.

He specified that the UDMR should remain in the government so that Hungarian communities – entrepreneurs, farmers, pensioners – can more easily survive the crisis period.
