
Two foreigners, aged 44 and 26, were arrested on Tuesday evening (December 13) by officers of the Rafina Port Authority’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (DDIN) with the assistance of members of the Piraeus Enterprises Special Forces (EOEP) and heads of the Special Missions Unit (KEA) of the respective port administration for violating the “addictive substances” law.
In particular, after using the information, a 44-year-old man was in the Athens area in order to have:
- 10 unbalanced drug distribution packages containing raw cannabis, with a total gross weight of 14.5 g,
- four empty drug distribution bags,
- the amount of 37.50 euros and
- mobile device.
Subsequently, the home of the 26-year-old in Athens, Attica, was officially investigated by the aforementioned L.S. – EL.ACT., where and with the assistance of the drug addiction police dog “Rando” were found:
- three plastic graters with the remains of raw hemp,
- metal grater with the remains of raw hemp,
- impromptu nylon packaging containing processed cannabis (chocolate), gross weight 16.7 g,
- three improvised nylon bags of raw cannabis with a total gross weight of 40.7 g,
- 11 unbalanced sachets containing raw cannabis, with a total gross weight of 20.5 g,
- two packs of tobacco containing raw cannabis, with a total gross weight of 22.8 g,
- a lot of empty drug distribution bags,
- working accurate digital scales,
- the amount of 25.00 euros and
- three mobile devices.
The Central Port Authority of Rafin, which is conducting a preliminary investigation, seized the above items.
