
USR leader Cătălin Drula said on Prima News TV on Wednesday that they will submit a draft law to parliament on Monday under which communist torturers will no longer have a special pension, saying that the special pension is eight times higher than the contributory pension, News reported .ro.
“It is serious that these differences exist, the special pension is eight times higher than the contributory pension. In fact, a famous pensioner with a special pension is even Mr. Nicolae Chuke, he has a pension of 43,000 euros per year, at the age of 55, in addition to the salary he receives as Prime Minister,” said the USR president.
Cătălin Drula clarified that the USR has launched a campaign called “Stop special pensions”, with which they aim to show Romanians that this government is in the interests of specials.
“On Monday, we will submit a draft law according to which communist tormentors will no longer have a special pension. Those who have a final conviction in a court of law for committing crimes against humanity, as security service personnel,” said Katalin Drula.
