Incanto di Luci – the Magic of Light – has already arrived in Rome for the first time, occupying the Orto Botanico botanical garden in the heart of the Trastevere area.

From November 19, 2022 to January 8, 2023, visitors can walk the spectacular 1.5-kilometre illuminated walkway, explore the gardens, and embark on a magical, festive journey from earth to heaven.

Incanto di Luci, with respect for the environment and in the midst of an energy crisis, presents an impressive range of installations with limited environmental impact.

In fact, organizers say the installation process was carried out in close collaboration with Orto Botanico to ensure the protection of plants and wildlife. In addition, most of the fixtures are LED, which significantly reduces energy consumption, and all materials are reusable.

Incanto di Luci is the first Italian version of the action game, set in at least 15 European cities over a period of more than five years.

The “Christmas Garden” was first created in Berlin in 2017 and then expanded to 10 other cities in Germany and then to Spain, France and the UK.
