Luis Enrique is happy with his team

Speaking to the media in an upbeat tone, Enrique gave a glowing analysis of Spain’s performance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“We dominated the game, we can only be accused of creating few chances. We only lacked a goal. I am happy with what the team has done. I’m proud of them,” the breeder told Marca.

Delighted with the Moroccan player whose name he did not know

When asked what Morocco surprised him with, the former “Barcelona” player reacted funny.

“I was surprised by the number 8 from Morocco, I don’t know his name. His way of running must be exhausted. I congratulate the Moroccan players and wish them all the best.”

The Spanish coach is cryptic about his future

At the end of the interview, Luis Enrique congratulated his players, but did not want to comment on his future.

“The players gave 100%. I congratulate them. They really respected my ideas about football. Now is not the time to talk about the future,” the selector concluded.
