The final group stage of the Romanian Cup kicked off on Tuesday with three games to determine the top two teams to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition, for the first time in a new format.

Sepsi Sfântul Gheorghe and U Craiova 1948, in the quarters of the Romanian Cup

Sepsi decisively beat FC Voluntari to finish top of Group A. Second-placed Craiova 1948 beat Petrolul Ploiesti away to qualify for the next stage.

The only goal of the game was scored by Gabi Janka in the 81st minute after a deflected shot. Petrol finishes the group in last place with only one accumulated point.

Sepsi met FC Voluntari, scoring a goal. Balasha opened the scoring in the 14th minute, and three minutes later Varga made the score 2:0.

In the second half, the same Varga in the 62nd minute and Safranco in the 84th minute brought victory to the team of Cristiano Bergodi.

Uniria Slobozia – Dynamo 3-3, in Group A of the Romanian Cup

“Dynamo” made a great start to the match against “Sloboziya”, scoring three times in the first half hour – Gezali (17), Amzar (24) and Rosa (30). Ben’s dynamism saw a red card in the 37th minute and the Yalomi team were back in the game.

Toma in the 39th minute from the penalty spot, Rus in the 50th and Ibrin in the 68th minute equalized for “Unir Slobozia”.

As a result, Dynamo received two more red cards, Aleksandra Pop in the 75th minute and Amzar in the 91st minute, they were quickly sent to the booths.
