Oh noβ¦. Dear Al… to those of you who have had the privilege of meeting him over the years, what a warm and wonderful gentleman he was. Rest in peace friend https://t.co/XEsrNAYZ5V

Strobel, who lost his left shoulder in a car accident at the age of 17, appeared on the show’s first episode in 1989. He played Philip, a man who removed one of his two shoulders to ward off a malevolent being trying to take over his body. Strobel appeared in 10 episodes of Twin Peaks. In fact, he became more widely known for a memorable moment on the show in which he recited a poem that includes the phrase “fire, walk with me.”
Sad, sad news… love Al. He was the sweetest of men. Great storyteller… :)π and watching him roll a cigarette with one hand is pure magic π https://t.co/2WDSHRzrj0

But besides Twin Peaks, Strobel was involved in a number of other projects, such as Ricochet River (2001) and Child of Darkness, Child of Light (1991).
Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost wrote, “Oh no… dear Al… what a loving and wonderful gentleman he was.”
