Environment Minister Tanchos Barna announced that the program would be rethought and that those who requested vouchers and did not use them would be barred from participating. It is also possible to increase the value of vouchers and, depending on the interest of applicants, certain appliances can be removed from the program.

“Starting Monday, December 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM, individuals can register for the first phase of the Rabla Home Appliances Program to select vouchers related to the Washing Machines, Dishwashers and Refrigerators/Freezers category,” he said. . reported in the administration of the Environmental Fund.

The budget of the first stage is 25 million lei, and the selection of vouchers is carried out from 10:00 on 05.12.2022 to 23:59 on 09.12.2022 or until the budget is exhausted.

At the first stage, vouchers for the purchase of electrical and electronic household equipment are provided:

  • 400 lei for washing machines, including dryers, with at least the new energy consumption class C;
  • 400 lei for dishwashers with the new energy consumption class D;
  • 400 lei for the category of refrigerators/refrigerators/refrigerators/freezers with at least the new energy consumption class E.

The duration of the stage of selection of vouchers from the category is 5 days or until the budget allocated for this stage is exhausted.

After the list of approved persons is published on the AFM website, applicants will proceed to one of the approved vendors where they will purchase the necessary equipment.

The validity period of the voucher is 7 days from the date of its confirmation by AFM, during which it must be used at a verified seller.

“That will change, as we have introduced a ban on the same type of household appliances in the next session. This will discourage those who sign up but don’t use the corresponding voucher. (…) can be expanded without problems. Finally, next year, if we continue the program, we can say that those who blocked the program and practically mocked the possibility of receiving such financial support from the state, will no longer have the right to participate,” Minister Tanchos Barna said recently.

The Minister of Ecology also explained that the value of vouchers can be increased, given that energy-efficient products are becoming more and more expensive.

The program may be changed after detailed analysis, and some categories will be removed.

“Next year we will definitely have to re-analyze the market conditions because a lot of things change during the year. There is a possibility of increasing the cost. (…) We can also analyze the performance of each component in relation to vacuum cleaners. or air conditioners, where there is not much interest, we can make the same decision as we did with televisions, remove certain appliances from the program and focus on those that are of interest and have a large impact on bills (energy, – n. ed.)”, the Minister of Ecology also informed.
