The 21-year-old man was eventually transferred to Papageorgiou Hospital, where he died five days later.

Then the driver of the car crashed into a parked car, reversed, stepped on the girl lying on the road again, and developed a high speed in a westerly direction.

From my side, another eyewitnesstestifying to the authorities, he noted that he heard a loud bang and saw a dark car moving along Egnatia Street in the opposite direction.

In particular, the witness said: “I was walking along the sidewalk of Egnatias Street. Approaching Kamara, I heard a loud bang, like a roar, from Egnatia Street. By the time I realized what had happened, I saw a dark SUV moving down Egnatia Street, first against the current to the east, then swerving and moving quickly and dangerously into the west stream of Egnatia Street. Her movement was sudden for me, who noticed it at the last moment. According to the rules of the road, he had to avoid such unpredictable and dangerous driving behavior. Seeing this sudden and completely sudden movement of hers, I instinctively reacted by slamming on the brakes and taking an evasive maneuver to the left so as not to crash into her. Unfortunately, this was not possible. The loss of control was also likely caused by bad rear tires.
