In a video released by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, one of the snipers can be seen knocking out several Russian soldiers who were trying to hunt a rabbit at night.

“Hunters are becoming the hunted,” said the message of the Ministry of Defense in Kyiv, published on Twitter along with the video.

It shows Russian soldiers using a hand grenade to knock a rabbit out of a hole or kill it, then climbing out onto spikes from behind their positions, images that some netizens have compared to Looney Tunes cartoons.

Unfortunately for the Russian military, a Ukrainian sniper was waiting for them and quickly opened fire on them. What seems quite remarkable is that a second group of Russian soldiers appears on the right in the second part of the frame after the sniper has already opened fire on the first.

It is not clear whether this second group of Russian soldiers was also eliminated or managed to hide behind thickets, the images are not very convincing in this regard.

But after a few seconds, during which the Ukrainian sniper remains with the target in the place where they were, no movement is visible. And at the end of the recording, you can see how the rescued rabbit runs away unharmed after the whole scene.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine did not announce when and where the footage was taken, as well as other successful shots of its snipers.

According to estimates released on Monday morning by the Ukrainian military, the number of people killed by the Russian occupiers since the start of the war on February 24 has reached 87,900, of which 590 were killed in the last 24 hours alone.
