The Border Police reports that over the last day, 181,390 Romanian and foreign citizens, with more than 50,650 vehicles, have passed formalities at the border. More than 9,100 citizens of Ukraine entered the country, which is more than the previous day, News.ro reports.

“On 11/26/2022, approximately 181,390 people, Romanian and foreign citizens, with more than 50,650 vehicles,” the border police said on Sunday.

The source specified that 80,895 people were on their way to Romania, of which 9,165 were citizens of Ukraine (10.7% more than the previous day).

“Thus, starting from February 10, 2022 (pre-conflict period) until November 26, 2022 at midnight, 2,923,469 citizens of Ukraine entered Romania at the national level,” the quoted source added.

The border police report that they work at the maximum level that the infrastructure of the checkpoints allows.
