The Kremlin said on Wednesday it had no doubts about the “success” of its military offensive in Ukraine, while Kyiv condemned massive Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, AFP reported.

“There is no doubt about the future and success of the military special operation,” Kremlin press secretary Dmytro Peskov assured after the conclusion of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit held in the Armenian capital, Yerevan.

Peskov was not asked at the press conference about Wednesday’s adoption by the European Parliament of a text that qualifies Russia as a “state sponsor of terrorism” in the conflict in Ukraine, calling on 27 EU member states to do the same, but Russian diplomacy spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reacted on Telegram.

She suggested qualifying the European Parliament as a “propagandist of idiocy.”
