Introducing corrective measures, the three-member Thessaloniki Juvenile Court punished four minors found guilty of indecent acts committed jointly at the expense of a 14-year-old girl.
The case surfaced two years ago, when a minor filed a complaint. The reported acts took place in an abandoned building in the eastern Thessaloniki area. Then seven minors aged 13 to 16 were charged, but in the process two of them were acquitted, and now the court has acquitted – because of doubts – the fifth.
Corrective measures were assigned to four convicts in the form of a reprimand, community service – from 120 to 180 hours, supervision by a juvenile inspector, as well as measures to control the counseling program of the Mental Health Center, for one year.
In their apologies, they themselves denied the accusations, saying that everything happened with the consent of the minor.
The patient, who turned 16 today, was not examined in court – the trial was held behind closed doors – but they read out a statement that she gave to the police. On the contrary, her parents testified that they passed on what happened to their daughter.
