Sadio Mane misses the World Cup in Qatar
Having injured his right fibula in a match for his club team, Mane was initially included in the squad for the 2022 World Cup by coach Aliou Cisse.
The FSF said on Thursday that Mane’s latest tests showed the Bayern star would not be able to play in Qatar.
There was also no Mane at the 2018 World Cup, who lost only to Karim Benzema in the race for the Golden Ball.
