The management of Tirgu Jiu District Emergency Hospital decided to launch an internal investigation after seeing the footage published by journalist Matei Claudiu from the Gorjeanul daily newspaper.

The disciplinary commission came to the conclusion that the hospital employee, who is a nurse in the rehabilitation department of physical medicine and spa medicine, did not comply with the Rules of Internal Procedure, reports Libertatea.

After the inspections, the commission came to the conclusion that the nurse left during the program when she was loading cabbage into the trunk.

“He left the workplace before the end of working hours, without notifying the doctor on duty, and during working hours he carried out personal actions and manifestations that harmed the prestige of the unit. The nurse did not sign the handover/shift protocol,” Tirgu Jiu County Emergency Hospital reported.

According to the Rules of Internal Procedure, employees of the hospital unit are not allowed to leave the hospital premises in protective/work equipment and are required to wear appropriate protective/work equipment during the program.
