Greek publishing products will be an honorary market at the newly created BolognaBookPlus 2023 (BBPlus), organized for the second year in parallel with the Bologna International Children’s Book Fair (March 6-9). This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and the Hellenic Cultural Foundation, confirming the corresponding message “K” (10/13/2022). BBPlus was launched in 2020 in collaboration with the Italian Publishers Association (AIE) to reach publishers and readers as widely as possible. From what has been announced, Greece’s participation includes guest-author programs, professional networks, translator forums, etc.

Anthony Dorr was awarded

American writer Anthony Dorr, whose work is published by Pataky, won the 2022 American Literature Grand Prix for the French edition of his novel Nephelococcygia. This special prize was established in 2015 and is awarded annually to an American novel published in French in the same year and noted for its literary merit. The author won the Pulitzer Prize for All the Light We Cannot See. “Nefelokokygia” was published in the translation of Myrtos Kalofolias.

100 audiobooks about Princeton

Princeton University Press will offer its books in audiobook and e-book formats in partnership with Glassboxx. Readers will be able to purchase digital and audio books directly from the publisher’s website, and will also be able to read and listen to them through a dedicated app. On the Princeton website, readers can find 100 audiobooks on Princeton Audio, and there will be more. The university’s goal is to turn even more titles from its catalog into audiobooks.
