In the video, which was published on social networks by the People’s Deputy of the Russian Federation Oleksandr Borodai, it can be seen how the car in which he was traveling in the Kherson region crossed the border past an anti-tank mine.
“I was basically lucky. Someone over there was unlucky,” says the Russian deputy, pointing to another car that apparently got into an accident, instead of hitting an anti-tank mine.

“But we were lucky. Anti-tank mine,” he points to the explosive device.
“But you’re still not a tank,” jokes the man filming. “Who knows how sensitive she is,” stresses Boroday. “So here they are, the roads of Kherson,” the operator concludes.
Dmytro, the founder of the well-known website War Translated, reminds that Borodai, before being elected to the Russian parliament, was one of the officials of the so-called pro-Russian separatist government in Donetsk.
Borodai even served as prime minister of the separatist-controlled regions of Donetsk immediately after they declared independence in 2014 following Moscow’s illegal annexation of Crimea.
He was elected to the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, in parliamentary elections held in Russia last year. Borodai ran on the lists of Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party.
Several Russian lawmakers have asked to send them to the front after Putin ordered a partial mobilization on September 21, but it is unlikely that they will actually reach the war zones.
By the way, in the recording around 00:09, it can be seen that Borodin, although he is wearing a bulletproof vest and has several weapons with him, is wearing things that look like sneakers.
