According to representatives of ISU Brăila, the incident took place in a restaurant in the municipality of Brăila, where during the event, the plasterboard suspended ceiling collapsed on approximately 250 square meters and fell on the tables, writes News.ro. According to the first information, there were about 60 people in the restaurant, they were not surprised and managed to leave the establishment on their own.

Three people received medical assistance (2 with a mild brain injury and a panic attack) by the crews of the State Emergency Service and did not need to be transported to the hospital,” the source said.

The authorities have activated a red intervention plan as well as a task force at the level of ISU Braila.

They mobilized 4 fire engines, 2 evacuation crews, 3 SMURD ambulances and 5 rescuers from SAJ Brăila to the scene, and at the time of this news, the red intervention plan was deactivated.
