
Raw cannabis and cocaine were found on two citizens and one foreigner who were arrested on Thursday (March 11) by officers of the Piraeus Port Authority’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (DDIN).
In the presence of a court official and with the assistance of the heads of the Special Operations Unit and the Special Mission Echelon (K.E.A.), the homes of the above persons and two shops in Attica were searched.
In particular, 5 packages with plant extracts of raw hemp with a total gross weight of 2072.53 g, 18 packages with cocaine with a total gross weight of 950.98 g, 40 homemade packages of cocaine with a total gross weight of 35.46 g were seized. and 2 packages of processed cannabis with a total gross weight of 4.15 g. As well as a package of crystal methamphetamine, a pistol, a firearm, a knife with an 18 cm blade, an iron fist and the amount of 24,312.30 euros.
According to the Coast Guard, the amount of money that the above could receive from the sale of narcotic substances is estimated at more than 135,000 euros.
